The idea for Cannery Coast came together on a weathered deck overlooking Monterey Bay, where a small group of coastal cooks kept gathering for oyster nights and kept reaching for the wrong tools. The clamps were flimsy, the grip was uncertain, and the ritual felt rushed. So they set out to build something worthy of the shuck - a wood-bodied clamp that holds steady, looks beautiful, and carries the unhurried confidence of the working harbor that inspired it.
